Role Purpose

We are looking for a senior professional to lead the delivery of Cybersecurity and IT Audit assignments, particularly for BFSI clients.

The individual will be responsible for audit planning, execution, review, drafting of audit observations, team mentoring and presenting audit findings to senior management and Audit Committees.

Prior experience in a Bank / NBFC / Insurance company or other BFSI organisation will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Cybersecurity, IT and Regulatory Audit assignments for BFSI clients.

Strong understanding of RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, CERT-In and other applicable regulatory requirements.

Plan audits, identify key risks, define audit procedures and ensure quality execution.

Review audit evidence and independently identify and articulate meaningful audit observations.

Draft clear, concise and well-structured audit findings covering:

Condition / Observation

Risk / Impact

Root Cause

Regulatory / Control Reference

Management Recommendation

Ensure observations are fact-based, risk-oriented and supported by appropriate audit evidence.

Conduct discussions with client CISO, CIO, IT, Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit teams.

Handle management discussions and resolve disagreements on audit findings professionally.

Prepare and deliver Audit Committee / senior management presentations.





Review audit reports and ensure consistency, accuracy and professional quality.

Train and mentor audit teams on cybersecurity, IT audit methodology, regulatory requirements and observation drafting.

Provide technical guidance to team members during audit execution.

Ensure timely completion of assignments while maintaining audit quality.

Key Skills

Strong Cybersecurity / IT Audit experience

Excellent understanding of BFSI regulatory requirements

Strong audit observation and report-writing skills

Ability to distinguish symptoms from root causes

Solid professional skepticism and ability to put forward the right audit points

Excellent client-facing and stakeholder-management skills

Strong English communication – written and verbal

Ability to communicate technical issues in simple business language

- Confident presentation skills, including Audit Committee presentations**

Strong team leadership and mentoring skills

Preferred Profile

CA + CISA

Prior experience with a Bank / NBFC / Insurance company strongly preferred

Experience in a senior role in a Big 4 / consulting / professional services firm will be an advantage

Experience in RBI / SEBI / IRDAI regulatory audits

Experience presenting audit findings to senior management / Audit Committees The Ideal Candidate A strong Cyber Audit professional who understands the BFSI business, can identify what really matters, convert it into a well-supported audit observation, defend the finding with the client, and confidently present it to the Audit Committee.
