STEMarathon inspires and empowers young minds through hands-on science, coding and robotics. We are rolling out a STEM.org-accredited, five-tier robotics pathway for learners aged 3 to 18, and we are looking for a visionary academic leader to own it.
What you'll do
- Lead the academic direction of our STEM, science experiment, Arduino, mechatronics and robotics programmes across all age groups.
- Oversee delivery of our 12-week facilitator-guided curriculum and keep quality consistent across physical and online classes.
- Recruit, train, observe and mentor a team of STEM and robotics instructors.
- Develop new modules, projects, competitions and workshops, and adapt content for each age tier.
- Track learner progress, assessments and accreditation/badging requirements.
- Represent STEMarathon at schools, exhibitions, parent sessions and partner events.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree (essential) in Engineering (Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Computer), Computer Science, Physics or a related ST
EM field.Maste
- r's degree is a strong advantage.Prove
- n experience teaching or leading STEM/robotics programmes for children or teens.Hands
- -on skills in Arduino, sensors, microcontrollers, basic electronics and robot building; Scratch/Python is a plus.Indus

? We're Hiring: STEM & Robotics Instructors
STEMarathon Pvt Ltd | Colombo 6 & Online | [Full-time / Part-time]
Love building things and sparking curiosity? Join us to teach science experiments, Arduino,
mechatronics and robotics to children aged 3 to 18 in small groups of no more than 10, so every child gets real hands-on attention.
What you'll do
- Deliver engaging, hands-on lessons from our STEM.org-accredited robotics curriculum.
- Run science experiment workshops, robotics builds and Arduino projects, both in person and online.
- Adapt lessons for different ages, from early-years discovery to teen engineering projects.
- Prepare kits, keep equipment in order and give feedback on learner progress.
- Support camps, holiday programmes, exhibitions and competitions.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree (essential) in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or a related ST
