About LactEaseLactEase is a new Indian brand making premium lactose-free milk. We're launching first in Hyderabad with two products: Classic Lactose-Free Milk and High Protein Lactose-Free Milk. Our R&D; is complete, and we're now finding manufacturing partners and getting ready for launch.

About the roleYou'll be the founder's operations lead for everything between a finished formulation and a product on the shelf. That means finding and working with manufacturing partners, building the supply chain, and running day-to-day operations. You'll take direction from the founder and send a written update every day.

ResponsibilitiesManufacturing partners

- Research and shortlist co-packers with UHT, aseptic filling and lactase-dosing capability
- Visit facilities, collect quotes, and compare tolling rates, minimum batch sizes and payment terms
- Coordinate trial batches with our food scientists and record the results
- Support the founder through negotiations and contract finalisation

Procurement and supply chain

- Source raw milk, protein ingredients, lactase enzyme, stabilisers and aseptic packaging, with backup options for each
- Track prices, lead times and minimum order quantities
- Maintain a live cost sheet for every SKU

Quality and compliance

- Support FSSAI licensing, labelling and documentation
- Set up basic QC checks, batch records and shelf-life tracking
- Coordinate GST and compliance paperwork with our CA





Inventory and logistics

- Plan production against demand and maintain stock records for raw materials and finished goods
- Coordinate warehousing and transport in Hyderabad
- Track wastage and cost per unit

Coordination and reporting

- Work daily with the food scientists and R&D; team
- Give the marketing and sales team production timelines, stock availability and cost data
- Send the founder a written daily update covering production status, supplier progress, inventory, blockers and decisions needed
- Send a short weekly summary of costs, timelines and risks

Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in dairy, beverage or FMCG food manufacturing, procurement, supply chain or plant operations
- Hands-on exposure to UHT or aseptic processing, or to working with co-packers or contract manufacturers
- Working knowledge of FSSAI requirements and food safety basics (HACCP)
- Comfortable with Excel, costing and inventory tracking
- Transparent written communication and dependable daily reporting
- Willing to travel to manufacturing sites and to work in a startup where you build the systems yourself

Good to have
- Experience with protein-fortified or functional dairy
- Contacts among dairy processors or packaging suppliers in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka or Maharashtra
- Exposure to quick-commerce or modern trade supply chains
- B.Tech in Dairy or Food Technology, or an MBA in Operations or Supply Chain
