The Head of Marketplace will be responsible for defining and executing the marketplace growth strategy across leading e-commerce platforms. The role requires a strong blend of commercial acumen, analytics, stakeholder management, and team leadership.Key Responsibilities:

- Own the P&L; and revenue performance of all marketplace channels.

- Develop growth strategies for customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.

- Drive relationships with key marketplace partners and platform stakeholders.

- Lead category planning, pricing, promotions, assortment, and inventory optimization.

- Monitor marketplace trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.

- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, finance, and operations teams to deliver growth objectives.

- Build dashboards and performance metrics to track channel effectiveness.

- Manage and mentor a high-performing marketplace team.

- Drive automation, process improvements, and operational excellence initiatives.





- Ensure achievement of revenue, margin, and customer experience targets.

The Successful Applicant

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.

- 10+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital commerce, or marketplace management.

- Proven experience managing large marketplace businesses and delivering revenue growth.

- Strong understanding of platforms such as Blinkit, Swiggy, Tira, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, or similar marketplaces.

- Demonstrated experience owning P&L; and managing commercial performance.

- Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.

- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.

- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

- Results-oriented mindset with robust problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
