Position: Head - Airfreight

Department: Air Freight / Operations

Job Summary:

- Responsible for leading the companys Air Freight business, managing end-to-end import and export operations, airline coordination, pricing, customer service, and team performance.
- Lead and manage Air Import & Export operations.
- Coordinate with airlines, GSSA, agents, customs brokers and transporters.
- Manage air freight pricing, quotations, capacity and cost control.
- Ensure timely shipments, accurate documentation and SLA compliance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.
- Monitor operational performance, revenue and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with customs, aviation security, DG and other applicable regulations.
- Lead, train and motivate the Air Freight team.




- Identify current business opportunities and support business growth.
- Prepare MIS and performance reports for management.

Candidate Profile:

- Graduate in any discipline; Logistics/Supply Chain qualification preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in Air Freight/Freight Forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of Air Import & Export operations and documentation.
- Good airline, customer and vendor management skills.
- Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of freight forwarding systems and MS Office.
