About Underfive

Underfive is an AI inbox agent for lead gen agencies and outbound teams. It reads every reply to cold emails and LinkedIn messages, sorts it, responds in under 5 minutes, and books the meeting. We plug into Smartlead, Instantly, EmailBison, PlusVibe, HeyReach, Expandi, GetSales and Aimfox, and sync to calendars and CRMs like HubSpot and GoHighLevel.

The role

You'll be the bridge between our clients and our dev team. You understand outbound deeply, you're comfortable with APIs and webhooks, and you enjoy making sure clients get results. Half the job is technical, half is client-facing, and all of it is hands-on.

What you'll do

- Onboard new clients: connect their sending tools, set up API keys and webhooks, and configure calendars, CRMs and Slack
- Build and tune inbox agents: knowledge bases, reply instructions, booking links, CC rules and approval settings
- Run managed accounts: review AI-drafted replies, approve, edit or redraft them, and keep response times under 5 minutes
- Be first-line technical support: debug integrations, reproduce issues and write explicit bug reports for our devs
- Turn client feedback into product input, and help shape new features with the dev team
- Write help docs, setup guides and onboarding playbooks as you go

What we're looking for





- 2+ years in outbound, lead gen, GTM ops, or at an agency or SaaS tool in this space
- Hands-on with at least a few of: Smartlead, Instantly, EmailBison, HeyReach, Clay, Apollo, HubSpot, GoHighLevel
- You understand cold email basics: deliverability, sequences, reply handling and what makes a reply "positive"
- Comfortable with APIs, webhooks and tools like Postman, Zapier, Make or n8n. You don't need to be a developer, but you can speak their language
- Clear, fast written communication. You'll be talking to agency owners on Slack every day
- Ownership mindset: you notice when a client's leads are going cold before they do

Nice to have

- Experience at a lead gen or appointment-setting agency
- Basic scripting (JavaScript or Python) or SQL
- Experience writing prompts or tuning AI agents
