Style Lounge is a smart grooming app that connects customers with salons and grooming services. We are building a strong digital presence through engaging, high-quality content across social media and other digital platforms.
Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our in-house team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of short-form content, social media trends, and visual storytelling.
You will work closely with the marketing and creative team to produce engaging videos for Instagram, YouTube, ads, campaigns, and other digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos, Reels, promotional videos, ads, and social media content.
- Create engaging and trend-driven video content for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
- Add transitions, effects, subtitles, music, sound effects, and motion graphics where required.
- Understand brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all video content.
- Work with the marketing team to understand campaign requirements and deliver videos within deadlines.
- Repurpose existing content into multiple creative formats.
- Stay updated with current social media trends,
editing styles, sounds, and content formats.
- Collaborate with the content and marketing team during shoots and campaigns.
- Manage and organize video assets and project files efficiently.
Required Skills
- Robust proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar editing software.
- Good understanding of video composition, pacing, transitions, music, and storytelling.
- Experience creating Instagram Reels and short-form social media content.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation is preferred.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong creative sense and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand briefs and convert ideas into engaging visual content.

- Candidates with a strong portfolio/showreel will be preferred.
