Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Graphic Designer & Video Editor located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The candidate will be responsible for creating visual content, graphic designs, presentations, digital media, promotional materials, and video content for organizational, technical, and project-related communication.

The role involves developing creative visual concepts, designing digital and print assets, editing videos, creating motion graphics, and collaborating with technical and project teams to communicate complex information in a clear and engaging manner.

Key Responsibilities

- Create graphic designs, visual assets, presentations, posters, brochures, banners, and digital content
- Develop creative concepts and visual layouts based on project and communication requirements
- Design content for websites, social media, events, reports, presentations, and internal communications
- Edit and produce promotional, informational, technical, and project-related videos
- Create video sequences, transitions, titles, subtitles, captions, and basic motion graphics
- Work with raw footage, images, audio, animations,



and other digital assets to produce polished video content
- Develop infographics, diagrams, illustrations, and data visualizations to communicate technical information clearly
- Support branding and maintain consistency across organizational communication materials
- Assist in creating visual content for technical projects, research initiatives, events, exhibitions, and demonstrations
- Perform image editing, retouching, compositing, resizing, and optimization for different platforms
- Create presentation decks and visual materials for technical and management teams
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, developers, designers, and other teams to understand content requirements
- Convert complex technical concepts into simple and visually understandable communication
- Manage and organize design files, video assets, templates, fonts, images, and project resources
- Ensure designs and videos meet required formats, dimensions, quality, and delivery timelines
- Support photography and videography requirements for events, demonstrations, and project activities when required

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Animation, Fine Arts, Media, or related field (Preferred)
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in graphic design, video editing, or multimedia content creation




- Freshers with a strong portfolio and relevant academic/project experience may also apply
- Strong hands-on experience with graphic design and video editing tools
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, or similar software
- Good understanding of typography, layout, composition, colour, visual hierarchy, and branding
- Experience creating graphics for both digital and print media
- Knowledge of video editing, transitions, audio editing, colour correction, and basic motion graphics
- Experience with After Effects or other motion graphics tools is an added advantage
- Familiarity with animation, illustration, infographics, and visual storytelling
- Ability to create presentations and visually communicate technical or complex information
- Knowledge of social media formats and digital content requirements is preferred
- Basic knowledge of photography and videography is an added advantage
- Ability to work with different image, video, audio, and design file formats
- Strong creative thinking and attention to visual detail
- Ability to understand briefs and translate ideas into effective visual communication
- Good communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work within deadlines
- Robust portfolio demonstrating graphic design and video editing work is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
