We are looking for a creative, skilled, and passionate Graphic Designer & Multimedia Faculty / Trainer to join our academic team. In this role, you will be responsible for training students in graphic design, digital illustration, and multimedia tools, guiding them from foundational concepts to advanced practical portfolio creation.

The ideal candidate possesses strong hands-on industry expertise alongside an ability to mentor, inspire, and prepare students for careers in media, advertising, and digital design.

Key Responsibilities

- Curriculum Delivery & Classroom Training:
- Conduct daily theory and hands-on lab training sessions in graphic design, image manipulation, vector art, and multimedia software.
- Guide students through design fundamentals, including color theory, typography, composition, layout design, and branding.
- Assign real-world projects, design challenges, and practical exercises to build job-ready portfolios for students.
- Student Mentorship & Evaluation:
- Monitor individual student learning progress, provide constructive feedback on assignments, and resolve design/software queries.
- Conduct periodic lab practical tests, portfolio reviews, and internal examinations.
- Mentor students on current industry trends, freelance practices, and interview preparation.
- Lab Maintenance & Academic Administration:
- Ensure software versions, design plugins, and system resources are properly maintained in the computer lab.
- Maintain student attendance records, syllabus completion trackers, and performance reports.
- Assist in organizing internal creative workshops, design competitions, and student exhibitions.

Qualifications & Requirements




- Education: Diploma, Degree, or Certification in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Animation, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related disciplines.
- Experience:
- 1–3+ years of skilled experience as a Graphic Designer or Multimedia Trainer.
- Candidates with strong industry experience transitioning into teaching, as well as experienced educators, are welcome.
- Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing practical graphic design, branding, illustration, or multimedia work is mandatory for shortlisting.
- Language Proficiency: Strong verbal communication skills in Malayalam and English.

Technical Skills
- Core Graphic Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.
- Vector & Layout Software: Strong command over CorelDRAW.
- Multimedia & Video (Added Advantage): Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or audio-video editing software.
- Design Fundamentals: In-depth understanding of UI/digital assets, print production techniques (bleed, CMYK vs. RGB, resolution), typography, and pre-press standards.

Soft Skills
- Teaching & Mentorship: Patience to explain complex tools and design principles to beginners and diverse learners.
- Effective Communication: Ability to deliver structured lectures and articulate creative concepts clearly.
- Creativity & Artistic Eye: Passion for visual aesthetics and keeping up with evolving digital media trends.
- Patience & Approachability: Supportive attitude during lab hours to help students troubleshoot creative or technical issues.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
