As a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) – Seating Foam, you will support the design and development of automotive seating foam components using Siemens NX. You will assist in creating, modifying, and detailing 3D CAD models, preparing engineering drawings, and supporting product development activities.

The role provides an opportunity to develop practical knowledge of Siemens NX, automotive seating foam design, engineering drawings, GD&T;, design standards, and product development processes while working with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and modify 3D seating foam models using Siemens NX.
- Develop and update automotive seating foam components based on design requirements.
- Prepare and modify 2D engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation in Siemens NX.
- Perform basic part modeling, assembly modeling, drafting, and design modifications in Siemens NX.
- Support engineering changes, design updates, and revision activities.
- Apply basic GD&T;, dimensional requirements, tolerances, and engineering standards to drawings.
- Support the development of seat cushion, seat back, headrest, and other foam-related components.
- Coordinate with Design, Manufacturing, Tooling, CAE, Quality, and Prototype teams.
- Maintain engineering documents, BOMs, drawing revisions, and CAD data.
- Participate in design reviews,



prototype development, validation, and testing activities.
- Support design improvements based on manufacturing, testing, and customer requirements.
- Ensure CAD models and drawings follow company, customer, and automotive design standards.
- Learn and follow established Siemens NX modeling and drafting methodologies.

Qualification

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering.
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering.
- Freshers and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Required Skills

- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Siemens NX.
- Knowledge of NX 3D Modeling, Assembly, and Drafting.
- Understanding of automotive seating foam component design is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T; fundamentals.
- Knowledge of basic automotive product development processes.
- Understanding of basic manufacturing and tooling concepts.
- Ability to interpret design requirements and convert them into CAD models.
- Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn advanced Siemens NX tools and automotive seating design processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced automotive engineering setting.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹18,500.00 per week
