Senior Golang Backend Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Golang Backend Engineer to join our backend engineering team and build a up-to-date, high-performance trading platform in Go.

You will work on REST APIs, microservices, real-time data systems, and low-latency applications that power live trading experiences for the next generation of investors.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Go/Golang.
- Build and maintain REST APIs, WebSocket endpoints, and microservices.
- Develop high-performance, reliable, and low-latency backend systems.
- Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Implement concurrent and efficient solutions using Goroutines, Channels, and Context.
- Integrate and work with messaging systems such as Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable, and production-ready code.
- Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests.
- Profile applications, identify bottlenecks, and perform performance optimization.
- Deploy, monitor, debug, and troubleshoot services in production.
- Work closely with senior engineers on architecture, design, and code reviews.




- Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and platform-wide improvements.

Mandatory Skills
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Go/Golang development.
- Strong understanding of REST API design, HTTP semantics, and microservices architecture.
- Good knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of Go concurrency concepts – Goroutines, Channels, Context.
- Experience with Git, code reviews, and Agile development practices.
- Ability to write clean, scalable, maintainable, and testable code.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred / Good to Have
- Experience in FinTech, Trading, Stock Market, or Financial Services.
- Experience with Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, or other message brokers.
- Experience with WebSocket and/or gRPC.
- Exposure to AWS or GCP.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Jaeger, or similar observability tools.
- Understanding of low-latency and real-time system design.
- Exposure to broker APIs, algorithmic trading, or real-time market data systems.

Pay: Up to ₹1,500,000.00 per year
