Job Summary

Vedanta Power Solution Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a responsible and organized Godown Incharge for its Nashik Branch. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day godown operations, maintaining accurate inventory records, handling inward and outward materials, coordinating with project/site teams, and ensuring proper storage and safety of company materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Nashik Godown.
- Receive materials from suppliers and verify quantity, quality and specifications against invoices, delivery challans and purchase documents.
- Maintain accurate records of all Material Inward and Outward transactions.
- Maintain Stock Register, GRN, Issue Slips, Delivery Challans and Material Return Records.
- Issue materials to site/installation teams only against proper authorization or material requisition.
- Maintain proper stock of Solar, Electrical, Mechanical, Installation and Project-related materials.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, stacking and storage of all materials.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and inform the concerned department about shortage or replenishment requirements.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Accounts, Engineering, Installation, Service, Projects and Site Teams regarding material requirements.
- Maintain records of materials transferred between the Nashik Godown and various project sites.
- Maintain separate records for damaged, defective, rejected, excess and returned materials.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and report any shortage or discrepancy to management.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness and safety standards inside the godown.
- Take necessary precautions to prevent material damage, loss, theft and wastage.
- Maintain proper records of tools, equipment,



electrical items, solar components, cables, accessories and consumables.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly stock reports to the reporting manager.
- Support management during stock audits and inventory verification.
- Ensure that all material movement is properly documented and traceable.
- Coordinate loading and unloading of materials and ensure safe handling.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures and instructions issued by management.
- Perform any other duties related to Stores/Godown/Inventory Management as assigned by the management.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Store & Inventory Management
- Knowledge of Material Inward & Outward Process
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
- Valuable documentation and record-maintaining skills
- Ability to maintain stock registers and inventory reports
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Responsible, honest and trustworthy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle multiple material requirements simultaneously

Educational Qualification

12th / Diploma / Graduate – Any relevant stream.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in Godown, Warehouse, Stores or Inventory Management is preferred.

Candidates having experience in Solar, Electrical, EPC, Engineering, Construction or Renewable Energy industries will be preferred.

Salary

As per candidate's experience, skills and company standards.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
