Designation: General Manager/Head – Production & Designing

Location: Partapur ,Meerut

Reporting To: Director

Key Responsibilities

· Plan, manage, and monitor complete sheet metal fabrication production operations.

· Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets as per customer requirements and delivery schedules.

· Manage processes including cutting, bending, punching, laser cutting, welding, fabrication, grinding, assembly, and finishing.

· Prepare and monitor production plans, schedules, capacity utilization, and manpower deployment.

· Ensure optimum utilization of machines, manpower, materials, and production resources.

· Monitor production efficiency, rejection, rework, downtime, and overall productivity.

· Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, PPC, and Dispatch departments.

· Ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.

· Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

· Control production costs and minimize material wastage, rejection, and overtime.





· Ensure proper maintenance and preventive maintenance of production machinery in coordination with the maintenance team.

· Develop and implement 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and statutory requirements.

· Lead, train, motivate, and evaluate production staff, supervisors, and operators.

· Design knowledge solidwork and Auto cad.

· Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, delivery, and cost (QCD).

Required Skills

· Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.

· Good understanding of CNC Laser Cutting, CNC Press Brake, Punching, Welding, and related fabrication machinery.

· Strong production planning and manpower management skills.

· Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and production specifications.

· Knowledge of production costing, material utilization, rejection and wastage control.

· Solid leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and team-management skills.

· Proficiency in production MIS and MS Excel/ERP systems.

· Ability to manage multiple production activities under strict delivery timelines.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
