Key Responsibilities1.

Greenfield

Setup &

• Plant Operations

- Lead the end-to-end setup of the manufacturing facility from greenfield phase, site layout design, and machinery foundation to final commissioning and commercial production.
- Direct daily shop-floor operations, overseeing CNC turning, VMC machining, heavy welding, cutting, fitting, and grinding operations.
- Formulate production schedules, monitor operational throughput, and optimize machine uptime (OEE) to meet volume and delivery targets.

Project

Management, Erection &

- Cross-Functional Delivery

- Oversee the complete lifecycle of structural and PEB projects, integrating fabrication timelines with on-site erection schedules.
- Coordinate cross-functionally across structural design, procurement, logistics, and site engineering teams to ensure on-time delivery.
- Spearhead talent acquisition and team building across production, quality, and maintenance functions; mentor supervisory staff and optimize workforce planning.

Strategic

Operations &

• Process Excellence





- Formulate and execute long-term operational roadmaps aligned with corporate growth targets.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement lean manufacturing frameworks, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies to boost productivity and reduce cycle times.

Quality

Assurance &

• EHS Compliance

- Institute rigorous QA/QC standards covering incoming raw materials, in-process fabrication, non-destructive testing (NDT), surface treatment, and finished goods.
- Enforce statutory compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, lead regular safety drills/audits, and drive a zero-incident safety culture across the plant.

5. Financial & • Cost Management

- Formulate and manage the annual plant operating budget (OPEX) and capital expenditures (CAPEX).
- Enforce strict controls on material wastage, direct/indirect labor costs, and consumables; optimize inventory holding levels (WIP and raw steel).

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

- Education: Diploma (DME) or B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
- Experience: 15 to 25+ years of hands-on experience in heavy steel fabrication, PEB manufacturing, structural erection, and plant operations.
- Core Competencies:
- Demonstrated track record of leading or actively contributing to greenfield/brownfield plant setup.
- In-depth knowledge of PEB design standards, automated welding lines, CNC/VMC operations, and erection workflows.
- Strong P&L; orientation with expertise in resource optimization, vendor coordination, and team leadership.
- Fluency in local regulatory compliance and statutory plant safety standards.

Location & Logistics

- Work Location: Plant Facility (~80 km from Hyderabad on the Warangal Highway).

Candidates must be willing to relocate closer to the facility or commute as required.
