General Manager - Operations

Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager – Operations to lead the end-to-end operations of our multispecialty hospital. The role will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, superior patient experience, quality and compliance, financial performance, and effective coordination across clinical and non-clinical functions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital.
- Ensure seamless coordination between clinical, nursing, diagnostics, pharmacy, billing, insurance, facilities and support services.
- Drive patient experience, service quality and operational efficiency across OPD, IPD, Emergency, OT and other services.
- Monitor key operational and financial metrics including occupancy, revenue, ARPOB, ALOS, OT utilization and cost efficiency.
- Work closely with doctors, nursing leadership and department heads to resolve operational challenges.
- Drive hospital revenue growth, cost optimization and profitability in alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements,



hospital policies and NABH/other accreditation standards, where applicable.
- Lead initiatives for process improvement, automation and digital transformation.
- Oversee support functions including housekeeping, security, engineering, biomedical, stores, dietary and other facility services.
- Manage manpower planning, performance management, employee engagement and capability development.
- Monitor patient feedback, complaints and service-recovery initiatives.
- Prepare and review operational MIS, dashboards and performance reports for senior management.
- Support the management in business development, new service lines and strategic initiatives.
