Role Description The General Manager Human Resources is a full-time, in office role based at The Shri Ram Academy in Hyderabad. This role oversees end-to-end HR management, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement for academic and non-academic staff.

The General Manager Human

Resources will design and implement HR policies, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and foster a culture aligned with TSRA’s values of collaboration, safety, and professional growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding leaders on HR best practices, managing employee relations and grievance redressal, driving learning and development initiatives,



and supporting change management across the institution. The role also involves HR data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement of HR processes to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with proven experience leading HR functions in an education or service-oriented organization.
- Ability to design, implement, and review HR Policies and frameworks that support organizational goals and regulatory compliance.
- Expertise in Human Resource Development, including talent management, performance management, and learning and development initiatives.
- Demonstrated skills in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and building a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Advanced communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and diverse teams.
- Experience in change management, organizational development, and HR analytics to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant HR certifications are an advantage.
- Familiarity with educational institutions, IB or international school environments, and local labor laws applicable in India is preferred.
