Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced General Manager – Development to drive the company’s hotel development initiatives, identify new business opportunities, and oversee projects from initial evaluation through development and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development of new hotel projects from concept, feasibility and planning through execution.
- Evaluate potential projects based on location, market potential, competition, positioning and commercial viability.
- Coordinate with owners, investors, consultants, architects, project teams and internal stakeholders.
- Support site evaluations, feasibility studies, financial projections and project proposals.
- Drive project timelines, budgets, design requirements and brand/operational standards.




- Provide operational inputs for hotel design, room planning, F&B; concepts, facilities and service standards.
- Monitor project progress and highlight key risks, deviations and corrective actions to management.
- Support negotiations and coordination with stakeholders for successful project development.
- Ensure smooth transition of completed projects to the Pre-Opening and Operations teams.
- Set up Sales and Marketing targets and long-term business objectives
- Set Up all departments with Operational & Admin. Teams
- Identify opportunities for expansion, new hotel signings and portfolio growth.

Candidate Profile:

- Minimum graduate preferably Hospitality graduate. A post graduate with knowledge of Marketing or Operations is desirable.
- Minimum 15-20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with strong exposure to Hotel Development / Projects / Operations.
- Experience in new hotel development, project evaluation and pre-opening will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of hotel feasibility, market analysis, project planning and commercial aspects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India for project and site requirements.
- Candidates with experience in a hotel chain/corporate development workplace will be preferred.
- Mumbai based candidate will be given preference.
