Role Description The General Manager – Civil is a full-time, in office role based in New Delhi, responsible for overseeing civil construction projects from planning to completion. The role includes supervising project execution, coordinating with clients, consultants, and site teams, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

The General

Manager – Civil will manage budgets, resources, and timelines, prepare and review project reports, and support tendering, estimation, and contract administration activities. Daily responsibilities also include mentoring project staff,



resolving technical and operational issues, and driving continuous improvement in construction processes and performance.

Qualifications

- Strong background in civil engineering, with demonstrated experience managing medium to large-scale construction projects.
- Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and resource management, including use of relevant tools or software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Knowledge of construction standards, building codes, safety regulations, and quality control practices in the civil infrastructure domain.
- Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships, including coordination with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making skills, with the ability to guide on-site teams and resolve project issues promptly.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with clear reporting and documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) are an advantage.
- Relevant experience in on-site management roles in urban or infrastructure projects, preferably in or around New Delhi.
