Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Head Commercial to lead commercial operations across projects, including contract administration, budgeting, claims management, revenue recovery, subcontract management, cash flow monitoring and commercial risk management. The role will drive contractual compliance, project profitability and commercial performance in coordination with Project, Planning, Procurement, Finance and Senior Management teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Contract Administration: Lead client contract and subcontract administration, ensure contractual compliance, interpret contract clauses, manage notices and correspondence, and establish commercial controls.
- Budgeting & Commercial Planning: Oversee project budgeting, cost monitoring, forecasting, cost-to-complete analysis and cost optimization initiatives.
- Claims & Variations: Manage change orders, variation claims, EOT claims and commercial proposals. Lead client negotiations to ensure recovery of additional costs and contractual entitlements.
- Commercial & Resource Monitoring: Monitor project commercial performance, manpower and equipment utilization, cost control and productivity improvement.




- Vendor & Subcontract Management: Lead commercial evaluation, negotiations, subcontract finalization, performance monitoring, claims management and commercial settlements.
- Revenue & Cash Flow Management: Monitor billing, revenue realization, collections, receivables, advances, retention and cash flow forecasts. Review project profitability and commercial MIS.
- Commercial Risk Management: Identify and mitigate contractual, commercial and financial risks, maintain risk registers and escalate major exposures to Senior Management.
- Client & Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with project teams, clients, consultants, vendors and subcontractors to resolve commercial issues and negotiate settlements.
- Team Leadership & Governance: Lead the Commercial and Contracts team, strengthen commercial processes, establish governance and drive best practices across projects.
