Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru South for a Game Quality Assurance Test Engineer. The role involves designing and executing test plans and test cases for console, PC, and mobile games to ensure gameplay, performance, and stability meet expected standards. The engineer will identify, document, and track defects, collaborate with development and design teams to reproduce issues, and verify fixes.

Daily tasks include regression testing, compatibility testing, and usability checks, as well as creating clear test reports and maintaining QA documentation.



The role also includes contributing to test process improvements, following established QA methodologies, and supporting release readiness for game updates and new titles.

Qualifications

- Strong game testing skills, including functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing for console, PC, and mobile platforms.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools, and the ability to document issues clearly and systematically.
- Familiarity with game development lifecycles, basic understanding of game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal) and version control workflows.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to reproduce and isolate complex defects.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work closely with developers, designers, and product teams.
- Comfort with working on-site in a fast-paced environment, managing time and priorities across multiple test cycles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Game Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Passion for gaming and awareness of current industry trends; prior experience in game QA or software testing is a strong advantage.
