Full Stack Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

- Remediate security vulnerabilities in a complex enterprise legacy application.
- Work directly with onshore resources, a full stack engineer, and a security analyst, to act as the primary point of contact and coordinator for the effort.
- Maintain a viable and manageable framework score to operate day-to-day and move forward with the planned migration.
- Identify and mitigate critical, high, and medium vulnerabilities in the application.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, development, and operations teams to ensure a secure and reliable application.
- Track and remediate vulnerabilities using Jira.

Required Qualifications:

- Strong experience in security vulnerability remediation across enterprise applications.
- Hands-on development experience with .NET Framework/.NET Core applications.
- Ability to analyze and remediate vulnerabilities identified through Tanium, Tenable, Prisma Cloud, and CVE reports.
- Expertise in secure coding practices, application hardening, and secure software lifecycle management.
- Experience reviewing and fixing vulnerabilities in legacy enterprise applications.
- Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, SAST/DAST findings, and application security controls.
- Experience working with Windows Server and Red Hat Linux environments.
- Knowledge of enterprise middleware, web servers, and application servers.
- Experience working with databases such as Oracle SQL Server and vulnerability remediation related to database platforms.

Technical Skills & Experience:

- Experience with JIRA for vulnerability tracking, remediation management, and reporting.
- Solid troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience working in hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.




- Ability to collaborate with infrastructure, security, development, and operations teams.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Prisma Cloud, container security, and cloud security posture management.
- Experience with enterprise products from Oracle, IBM, Cognizant, Microsoft, and other vendor platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Security certifications such as CSSLP, Security+, CISSP, GIAC Secure Software Programmer (GSSP).
- Experience supporting large-scale healthcare or regulated enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with automated remediation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Experience in data center migration security activities and security compliance assessments.
