Roles

- Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js, NestJS, React, Node.js, TypeScript and PostgreSQL.
- Build the backend of the product, including APIs and services that allow different parts of the application to communicate with each other.
- Create and manage the database structure, including tables, relationships, queries and data storage using PostgreSQL.
- Develop user-friendly and responsive screens using React and Next.js.
- Connect the application with third-party APIs, payment gateways, authentication systems and other external services.
- Build secure login and access systems and ensure proper user authentication, authorization and data validation.
- Improve application speed by optimizing APIs, database queries and overall system performance.
- Identify, troubleshoot and fix technical issues, including problems occurring in the live/production application.
- Take complete responsibility for assigned features from understanding the requirement to development, testing, deployment and monitoring.
- Work with founders, designers and other engineers to understand requirements and convert them into working product features.
- Help decide how new features should be technically designed and contribute to application architecture and technology decisions.
- Write clean,



reliable and maintainable code and follow proper development and testing practices.
- Use Git and modern development workflows for managing and collaborating on code.
- Work with technologies such as Redis, Kafka/message queues, Docker and AWS when required.
- Support CI/CD, production deployments, logging and application monitoring.
- Help build systems that can handle increasing users and data as the product grows.
- Understand the business purpose behind a feature, not just the technical requirement, and suggest practical solutions.
- Work independently, investigate problems and find solutions with minimal supervision.
- Balance speed and quality while avoiding unnecessary complexity in solutions.
- Work closely with the founding team in an early-stage startup setting, where responsibilities may extend across backend, frontend, database and infrastructure.
- Stay curious and learn new technologies or tools whenever required to solve product and technical challenges.
- Contribute to building new products and systems from the ground up, rather than only maintaining existing/legacy systems.
- Take ownership of work and contribute to the product's growth, with an opportunity to progress toward senior engineering and technical leadership responsibilities.

Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science, IT or related field
