The platform will collect and structure health, lifestyle, behavioural, smartphone, wearable, device and clinical data, process it through explainable intelligence, and deliver personalised recommendations, rituals, programs and progress insights.

Full-Stack Android App Developer —

Key Responsibilities

- Android Application Development Build and maintain the core HiWox Android application with a strong focus on performance, reliability, usability and scalability.
- End-to-End User Journeys Develop workflows covering onboarding, assessments, health-data collection, consultations, personalised recommendations, programs, rituals, reminders and progress tracking.
- Android Health &
- Sensor Integration Integrate relevant Android capabilities, smartphone sensors, health data sources, wearables, smart rings and third-party health APIs.
- Backend Development Build and maintain backend services, APIs, databases, authentication and server-side business logic required to support the Android application.
- HiWox Intelligence Integration Integrate the HiWox rule-based intelligence and recommendation engine into the application to deliver explainable, personalised outputs.
- Health Data Architecture Implement secure and structured handling of data across the 9 wellness dimensions, including assessments, behavioural data, device data and clinical information.
- Dashboards &




- Progress Tracking Build user dashboards showing wellness scores, trends, compliance, recommendations, rituals, programs and transformation progress.
- Notifications &
- Engagement Implement reminders, alerts, check-ins, streaks and other engagement mechanisms supporting consistent participation in wellness programs.
- API &
- Third-Party Integrations Integrate healthcare APIs, device APIs, analytics platforms, communication services and other relevant third-party technologies.
- Security &
- Privacy Implement appropriate authentication, authorisation, encryption, secure data handling and privacy practices for sensitive health information.
- Testing &
- Deployment Perform unit, integration and application testing, debugging, performance optimisation and production deployment.
- Technical Architecture Contribute to scalable Android and backend architecture, coding standards, technical documentation and long-term maintainability.
- Product Collaboration Work closely with the HealthTech Product Owner, Health Informatics Engineers, Data Scientists, Healthcare Scientists and UI/UX team to convert requirements into working product features.
- Innovation &
- Automation Explore AI, automation, conversational interfaces,



analytics and emerging mobile HealthTech capabilities that can improve the HiWox experience.

Ideal Candidate
- Solid experience in Android application development
- Strong Kotlin and/or Java skills
- Experience with Android SDK, modern Android architecture and REST APIs
- Experience with backend development, databases and cloud services
- Experience building and consuming APIs
- Understanding of authentication, security and data privacy
- Experience integrating device APIs, sensors, wearables or health platforms is highly preferred
- Experience with health, wellness, healthcare or data-driven applications is an advantage
- Strong understanding of scalable application architecture
- Experience with testing, debugging and production deployment
- Strong problem-solving and independent execution ability
- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take ownership in an early-stage startup

Engagement
- Equity-only founding role
- No fixed salary at the current stage
- Approximately 20–25 hours per week
- Remote / hybrid
- Equity based on contribution, responsibility and long-term commitment
- 5-year vesting structure for core founding members
- Fixed compensation to be introduced after fundraising and revenue stabilisation

Key Outcome Build the core Android technology layer of HiWox — connecting users, health data, assessments, devices, the intelligence engine and personalised wellness programs into a secure, scalable and reliable HealthTech application.
