Job Responsibility:

- Lead the system design, development, modelling, integration, and validation of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) and Solid Oxide Electrolysis Cell (SOEC) systems.
- Own system, subsystem, functional, interface, performance, safety and durability requirements with end-to-end traceability.
- Translate product and stakeholder needs into system requirements, defining system and functional architectures, developing system models and operating strategies, and ensuring successful integration of electrochemical stacks with thermal, fluid, electrical, control subsystems
- Define functional, logical and physical architectures, including energy, mass-flow, electrical, and control interfaces.
- Lead steady-state and dynamic modelling of stacks, fuel processing, steam generation, power conversion and auxiliaries. Multidisciplinary integration of stack, thermal and fluid systems, power electronics, controls, software and safety functions.
- Develop operating strategies for start-up, normal operation, load transients, standby, shutdown, fault recovery and reversible operation where applicable.
- Define verification plans and support performance, transient, fault-injection, thermal-cycle,



endurance and environmental testing.
- Lead technical reviews, root-cause analysis, risk management, supplier coordination and mentoring of system engineering teams.

Technical expertise and tools:

- Demonstrated experience in SOFC, SOEC, reversible solid oxide cells or comparable high-temperature electrochemical systems.
- Strong capability in requirements engineering, system architecture, MBSE and multidisciplinary interface management.
- Expertise in electrochemistry, thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, reaction engineering and mass/energy/species balances.
- Hands-on experience in energetic modelling, control-oriented plant models, model correlation and design optimization.
- Experience defining supervisory controls, state machines, diagnostics, derating, protection thresholds and degradation-aware operation.
- Working knowledge of hydrogen safety, HAZOP, System/Functional FMEA, fault-tree analysis, reliability and safe shutdown concepts.

CTC Upto 55 LPA

Education: B.E/B.TECH/M.E/M.TECH/PhD in Chemical/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ EEE, or related discipline.
