- Minimum experience of 4 years as Freight Broker is required
- Generate new business by identifying and onboarding new customers, and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Handle the full brokerage cycle — from receiving load requests and quoting rates to negotiating with carriers, booking loads, and confirming coverage.
- Build, maintain, and manage a reliable carrier network, including an offline carrier list that can be used when load boards like DAT or TruckStop do not provide reach.
- Negotiate rates with both customers and carriers to ensure healthy margins and competitive pricing.
- Ensure all loads are covered on time and that carrier availability is never a blocker for confirmed shipments.
- Coordinate with carriers and customers on load details, pickup and delivery schedules,
and any issues that arise during transit.
- Resolve shipment issues, including damages or delays, by coordinating between the customer and the carrier.
- Maintain accurate records of all calls, emails, quotes, and bookings for performance tracking.
- Support factoring company onboarding efforts by maintaining clean documentation and qualified communication with factoring partners.
