Company Description Kindness Practice Foundation is an Indian not-for-profit organization, registered as a Section 8 company, dedicated to promoting sustainable living to reduce the burden of noncommunicable diseases such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, mental health disorders, and other chronic conditions. The foundation focuses on One Health, emphasizing the interconnected well-being of humans, other living beings, and the planet, and empowers agents of change through training programs. Its initiatives include Unhurry®, a digital platform offering science-backed content on sustainable living and nutrition, The Restore Awards® that recognize and support individuals and organizations working in nutrition, mental health, and sustainability, and cancer camps for underprivileged communities that promote prevention and early detection.
The organization also implements CSR projects for entities committed to sustainable living and reducing chronic disease burden among employees and communities.
Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid role for fresh graduates, based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region with flexibility for some work-from-home. The role involves supporting program implementation for sustainable living and One Health initiatives, assisting in coordination of projects such as Unhurry®, The Restore Awards®, cancer awareness camps, and CSR activities. Day-to-day tasks may include research support, basic content creation, data collection and documentation, outreach coordination with partners and communities,
and logistical support for events and training programs.
The role also includes maintaining records, preparing simple reports, collaborating with team members and volunteers, and contributing ideas to enhance impact and visibility of ongoing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Foundational research and analytical abilities, including basic information gathering, data organization, and interest in evidence-based work.
- Robust communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, ability to draft simple documents, and comfort interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Office management and calendar setting tasks and tools.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with good Wnglish diction for oration skills required.
- Based in MMR.
- Organizational and coordination skills, including time management, task follow-up, and support for events, workshops, and field activities.
- Comfort with digital tools and platforms, such as office productivity software, online collaboration tools, and social media for awareness and outreach.
- Demonstrated interest in public health, sustainability, mental health, nutrition, or social impact sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (such as social sciences, health sciences, environmental studies, communications, management, or related fields).
- Ability to work in a team, show initiative, learn quickly, and adapt to both field and remote work settings.
- Willingness to travel within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region for program activities when required.
