Freelance Video Editor & Videographer

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and skilled Freelance Video Editor & Videographer to create engaging, high-quality video content for our social media platforms, marketing campaigns, and brand communication.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of video shooting, editing, storytelling, social media trends, and short-form content, especially Reels and other digital formats.

Key Responsibilities

- Shoot high-quality videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube, promotional content, educational videos, events, and brand campaigns.
- Edit short-form and long-form videos according to brand guidelines and content requirements.
- Create engaging Instagram Reels, videos, promotional creatives, and other video content.
- Handle end-to-end video production, including shooting, editing, transitions, music, captions, subtitles, and basic motion graphics.
- Suggest creative concepts, video ideas, hooks, and trending formats suitable for the brand.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Content teams to understand campaign objectives and content requirements.
- Ensure videos are visually appealing, professionally edited, and aligned with the brand's tone and identity.
- Stay updated with current social media trends, editing styles, transitions, sounds, and content formats.
- Coordinate with the team for shooting schedules, locations, scripts, and content requirements.
- Deliver projects within agreed timelines while maintaining quality standards.




- Organize and maintain video footage and project files properly.

Required Skills

- Proven experience in video editing and videography.
- Strong knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media video formats.
- Knowledge of basic cinematography, lighting, framing, and camera handling.
- Strong sense of visual aesthetics, storytelling, pacing, and composition.
- Ability to add captions, subtitles, music, sound effects, transitions, and basic animations.
- Good understanding of social media trends and content performance.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Mass Communication, Film Making, Media, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in videography and video editing preferred.
- Freelancers with a strong portfolio and relevant experience may also apply.
