Looking For Freelancer Security Engineer – DevSecOps / Application & Infrastructure Security

Experience: 4–7 years

Key Responsibilities

Package and protect the Python application/source code using tools such as Nuitka, Cython, or PyArmor.

Implement AWX/Ansible as a controlled execution layer with Job Templates, RBAC, and Credential Management.

Secure communication between customer intranet and internet/cloud, including HTTPS/TLS and SSL certificates.

Implement secrets management and eliminate hardcoded passwords using HashiCorp Vault, Ansible Vault, or equivalent tools.

Configure and harden Ubuntu/Linux and Windows firewalls, including UFW/iptables and Windows Defender Firewall.

Work with the existing Linux, Python,



and development teams to implement and maintain the security architecture.

Mandatory Skills

AWX & Ansible: Job Templates, RBAC, Credential Management

Python Source-Code Protection: Nuitka / Cython / PyArmor or equivalent

Secrets Management: HashiCorp Vault / Ansible Vault / equivalent

Network Security: HTTPS, TLS/SSL, certificates, secure network communication

Firewall Security: UFW, iptables, Windows Defender Firewall

Linux: Ubuntu administration and Bash scripting

Hands-on experience in Application Security, Infrastructure Security, or DevSecOps
