We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Language Editor/Copyeditor in Freelancing to refine manuscripts for clarity, coherence, grammatical accuracy, and stylistic consistency. The ideal candidate will ensure high editorial standards while preserving the author’s voice and intent.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and proofread manuscripts for grammar, punctuation, syntax, spelling, and consistency.

Improve clarity, readability, and flow while maintaining the author’s tone and style.

Ensure adherence to editorial and formatting guidelines.

Fact-check references, citations, and basic content accuracy where required.

Co-ordinate with the team to enhance manuscript quality.

Review manuscripts for linguistic precision and structural coherence.

Maintain consistency in language, terminology, and style across projects.

Meet editorial deadlines and manage multiple manuscripts simultaneously.





Qualification:

Strong command of English language and grammar.

1.Proven years of experience in copyediting, language editing, or publishing.

2.Excellent attention to detail and sincere time-management skills, abiding to TAT.

3.Familiarity with style guides (APA, Chicago, MLA, etc).

4.Ability to preserve the author’s voice while improving readability.

- Consistent to work and co-ordination with the team.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
