About the RoleWe’re looking for an experienced finance professional to work closely with the founders of an early-stage, inventory-led business.

This is a hands-on fractional role focused on giving the founders clear visibility into cash flow, working capital, inventory, margins and overall financial performance.

You won't be expected to work full-time. We’re looking for someone who can bring robust finance expertise, establish the right systems and provide regular financial oversight within 5–10 hours per week.

What You'll Own

- Cash Flow: Maintain weekly cash-flow visibility and cash planning
- Working Capital: Monitor receivables, payables and overall working-capital cycle
- Inventory: Review inventory accounting, stock value and inventory movement
- Vendor Payables: Monitor vendor outstanding, payment cycles and credit terms
- MIS: Build and maintain simple, useful financial dashboards and reports
- Unit Economics: Track gross margin, contribution margin and key business metrics
- Financial Controls:



Set up basic finance processes and controls as the business scales
- Compliance: Coordinate GST, TDS and other statutory requirements with the CA/accounting team
- Business Reviews: Work with founders to identify financial leakages and improve profitability

What We're Looking For
- 5–10 years of finance experience
- Hands-on experience in an inventory-led business
- Experience in E-commerce, Quick Commerce, D2C, Distribution, Retail, FMCG or similar businesses
- Solid understanding of working capital, inventory and vendor payables
- Experience with cash-flow management and MIS
- Ability to analyse unit economics and contribution margins
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Experience with ERP and accounting software
- Comfortable working directly with founders in an early-stage environment
- Able to work independently with limited supervision
