About the Role

CMA Modular System Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and responsible Floor Manager to manage day-to-day activities on the manufacturing floor. The candidate will be responsible for manpower coordination, production monitoring, workflow management, quality, productivity, and ensuring that production activities are completed as per planned schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise daily activities across the factory production floor.
- Allocate manpower and work responsibilities according to production requirements.
- Monitor daily production targets and ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with the Production Manager regarding production plans and priorities.
- Monitor the progress of work at different stages of manufacturing.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, tools, and materials.
- Coordinate with supervisors, operators, carpenters, machine operators, and other floor staff.
- Monitor the quality of work and ensure products meet required specifications.
- Identify production delays, bottlenecks, and operational issues and take corrective action.
- Maintain discipline, productivity, and proper workflow on the shop floor.
- Coordinate with the store/material team to ensure timely availability of required materials.
- Monitor material wastage and promote efficient utilization of materials.
- Ensure proper handling and movement of finished and semi-finished products.
- Maintain daily production records and provide regular updates to management.
- Coordinate with the design, production, quality,



and dispatch teams whenever required.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, safety standards, and workplace procedures.
- Support the Production Manager in achieving production and delivery targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–5 years of experience in factory, manufacturing, furniture, modular furniture, interior fit-out, or related industries.
- Strong experience in shop-floor/factory floor management.
- Good knowledge of furniture manufacturing and production processes.
- Experience in handling and supervising a large workforce.
- Robust manpower planning and team management skills.
- Good understanding of production workflow, materials, machines, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to monitor productivity, quality, and wastage.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of production reporting and MS Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple production priorities.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in modular furniture, office furniture, woodwork, panel furniture, carpentry production, CNC operations, or interior manufacturing will be preferred.
