At COMMANDO, you’ll develop next-generation Internetwork Operating Systems, pushing the boundaries of firmware and embedded software engineering. You’ll work on mission-critical innovations that power global networks, requiring advanced C programming skills, expertise in embedded Linux, and a strong foundation in networking fundamentals.
Key Roles:
· Develop and optimize embedded firmware in C for high-performance networking platforms.
· Collaborate with hardware and systems teams on board bring-up and integration.
· Implement Layer 2/3 features such as STP, QoS, and VLANs.
· Debug across the full stack — from drivers to user-space apps.
· Use Linux toolchains, GCC/CMake and other tools for SDK compilation, and scripting (Python/Bash) for automation.
Ideal Candidate:
· Solid logic, analytical mindset and research-based learning capabilities
· Strong in C programming, Linux, and networking fundamentals.
· Passionate about low-level systems, debugging, and real-world problem solving.
· Know basic debugging using emulators, simulators, or stack debugging tools.
· Familiar with hardware interfaces and communication protocols like I2C, SPI, and UART.
