Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts & Finance professional with hands-on exposure to Short-Term Personal Loan (STPL) business operations. The candidate will be responsible for accounting, financial reporting, P&L; management, and financial analysis at both the overall company level and individual business vertical level.

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of Tally Prime, robust accounting fundamentals, GST/TDS filing, and ground-level knowledge of financial performance and growth in a lending business.

Key Responsibilities

- P&L; Accounting
- Manage and maintain Profit & Loss accounting for the company and respective business verticals.
- Analyse revenue, operating costs, provisions, and profitability periodically.
- Financial Statements
- Assist in preparing and maintaining the Balance Sheet, P&L;, Cash Flow Statements, and other financial statements.
- Ensure timely closure and accuracy of monthly and periodic financial books.
- STPL / Lending Business Accounting
- Handle accounting activities related to Short-Term Personal Loan (STPL) portfolios.
- Understand and account for loan disbursements, collections, interest income, charges, and related expenses.
- Assist in reconciliation of loan portfolio data with accounting records.
- Coordinate with relevant teams for resolution of accounting and reconciliation differences.
- Tally Prime & Accounting Operations
- Maintain accounting records and ledgers in Tally Prime.
- Perform journal entries, ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliations, and other routine accounting activities.




- Ensure proper documentation and supporting records for accounting transactions.
- Financial Analysis & Growth
- Track and analyse financial performance across different business verticals.
- Prepare MIS and management reports relating to revenue, expenses, profitability, and business growth.
- Reconciliation & Reporting
- Perform regular reconciliation of bank accounts, ledgers, operational data, and financial records.
- Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with internal teams for timely resolution.
- Prepare periodic financial reports and MIS for management review.
- Required Qualifications & Skills
- Chartered Accountant preferably/Masters's degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Prior experience/exposure to Short-Term Personal Loan (STPL) or lending business accounting.
- Hands-on knowledge of Tally Prime & MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of P&L; accounting and financial statements.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Ability to analyse financial data and understand business profitability and growth.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have a combination of strong accounting fundamentals and practical lending-business exposure, with the ability to independently handle financial information at both company and vertical levels.

Experience in STPL accounting, loan portfolio reconciliation, P&L; management, financial reporting, and business growth analysis will be preferred.
