About JMN Medical College and Hospital

JMN Medical College and Hospital is a 150-seat MBBS institution recognised under the National Medical Commission and located at Uttar Panchpota, Chakdaha, Nadia. We are a young institution building our systems, culture and reputation from the ground up, and the people we hire now will design how this institution works for years to come.

The Role

We are looking for a Finance Manager of high intelligence and sharp judgement to lead accounting, financial control and compliance for the institution, ensuring accuracy, transparency and audit-readiness.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain books of accounts and prepare monthly MIS and annual financial statements.
- Manage budgeting, cash flow forecasting and cost control.
- Handle compliance for a charitable trust: Income Tax (including Sections 12A and 80G), TDS, GST and statutory filings.
- Coordinate statutory and internal audits and implement audit recommendations.
- Oversee fee collection, receivables, payables, banking and treasury operations.
- Strengthen internal controls and financial governance systems.

- You interpret complex tax and trust compliance precisely, knowing that errors are costly.
- You build forecasting models and internal controls that give the institution foresight, not just records.
- You bring a sceptical, forensic mind to every transaction.
- You hold yourself to the highest standards of accuracy and integrity.

Digital and AI Skills

- Expert in Tally or an ERP system.
- Advanced Excel: financial modelling,



pivot tables, automated MIS reports and dashboards.
- You use AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or Gemini) for analysis, reconciliation support and documentation, and you verify every output rigorously.
- You automate repetitive accounting and reporting work, and you adopt recent financial tools quickly.

Requirements

- CA or CMA (preferred), or an MBA in Finance with strong accounting experience.
- 6–10 years of experience, including trust, NGO or educational-institution accounting.
- Proficiency in Tally or an ERP system, and advanced Excel.
- High integrity and meticulous attention to detail.
