We are seeking 2 experienced and passion-driven F&B; Trainers to join our team at the Howrah Skill Development Centre. The candidates will be responsible for providing hands-on and theoretical training to candidates pursuing careers in the Food & Beverage Service sector under vocational and government skill development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Delivery: Conduct interactive practical and theory sessions on F&B; service operations, table setup, order taking, menu knowledge and beverage service.
- Grooming & Hygiene: Train students on qualified hotel/restaurant etiquette, personal grooming, food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Customer Service Skills: Develop students' communication, guest handling, upselling and conflict resolution skills.
- Placement Assistance:
Conduct mock interviews and prepare candidates for successful placement in hotels, restaurants and quick-service restaurant (QSR) chains.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management (BHM / DHM).
- Experience: 1–3 years of core experience in F&B; Service (in 3/4/5-star hotels or reputed QSRs) OR prior teaching/training experience in hospitality skill development programs (e.g., PBSSD, DDU-GKY, PMKVY).
- Skills: Strong expertise in F&B; operations, good communication skills and effective presentation abilities.
- Location Preference: Candidates residing in or near Howrah will be preferred.
- Availability: Immediate joiners preferred.
