Role Description The Fashion Designer Intern role is an internship position based in Mumbai with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some flexibility for remote work from home. The intern will assist in designing fashion concepts, garments, and collections aligned with brand guidelines and client requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting the creation of sketches and technical drawings, participating in fittings, and collaborating with senior designers on fabric and textile selections.





The intern will help develop embroidery details and embellishments, maintain samples and mood boards, and assist in coordinating with production teams and vendors. The role also involves researching fashion trends, preparing design presentations, and contributing to the overall creative process within the fashion and apparel projects handled by Specular Business Services.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Fashion Design and Fashion skills, including the ability to create original concepts and interpret current trends.
- Candidates should possess skills in Textiles and fabric selection, with an understanding of materials, trims, and their practical applications.
- Candidates should possess Embroidery skills, with attention to detail in decorative techniques and surface embellishments.
- Candidates should possess Fitting skills, including the ability to evaluate garment fit and suggest pattern or construction adjustments.
- Candidates should ideally be pursuing or have completed a degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.
