Role Description The Factories Act Compliance Executive will be responsible for overseeing compliance with the Factories Act and related labour and safety laws for client facilities. This full-time, on-site role includes monitoring statutory requirements, maintaining registers and records, preparing compliance reports, and coordinating inspections and filings with relevant authorities. The executive will review and interpret applicable laws, support internal audits, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate compliance risks.
Daily responsibilities also include liaising with client management and government officials, responding to compliance queries, and assisting in the implementation of policies and procedures that align with statutory obligations.
Qualifications
- Candidate should possess robust Regulatory Compliance skills with specific experience in the Factories Act and related labour, safety, and welfare legislation.
- Candidate should possess solid Law knowledge, preferably with a degree in Law or a relevant legal/industrial relations discipline.
- Candidate should possess effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills to coordinate with clients, regulators, and internal teams.
- Candidate should possess sound Analytical Skills to interpret statutes, assess risks, and propose practical compliance solutions.
- Prior experience in factory compliance, labour law practice, or corporate compliance in manufacturing or industrial sectors is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Ludhiana, manage multiple client engagements, and meet strict statutory timelines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic compliance tracking tools; familiarity with digital record-keeping and reporting systems is an advantage.
