JMN Medical College and Hospital is a 150-seat MBBS institution recognised under the National Medical Commission and located at Uttar Panchpota, Chakdaha, Nadia. The Role

We are looking for a Facility Manager of high intelligence and sharp judgement to keep the campus safe, functional and inspection-ready, covering academic blocks, laboratories, hostels and utilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage maintenance of buildings, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, DG sets, water supply and lifts.
- Oversee housekeeping, security, transport, landscaping and hostel facilities.
- Ensure fire safety, electrical safety and statutory licences are current.
- Coordinate biomedical and general waste management with authorised agencies.
- Keep infrastructure compliant with NMC norms and ready for inspections.
- Manage facility contractors, AMCs and preventive maintenance schedules.

Who You Are

- You think preventively and build maintenance systems that stop failures instead of reacting to them.
- You diagnose technical problems methodically across electrical, mechanical and civil systems, and find root causes rather than symptoms.
- You assess risk rigorously (fire, electrical, structural and biomedical) and act before an inspector or an incident forces the issue.
- You balance competing priorities across a large campus with clear judgement.
- You hold yourself to exacting standards of safety, accuracy and accountability.

Digital and AI Skills





- Experience with computerised maintenance-management systems (CMMS) or digital maintenance logs.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets for maintenance schedules, cost tracking and dashboards.
- Familiarity with smart monitoring of utilities and energy consumption.

Requirements

- Degree or diploma in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a qualification in Facility Management.
- 7–10 years of experience in facility management for a campus, hospital or large institution.
- Working knowledge of fire safety norms and utility management.
- Willingness to be based on the Chakdaha campus.
