Role Description This is a full-time, in office Facade Designer role based in Gurugram.

The Facade

Designer will be responsible for developing facade concepts and detailed designs for commercial and residential projects, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with relevant standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing shop drawings, coordinating facade details with structural and architectural teams, and selecting appropriate cladding and glazing systems. The role also involves collaborating with project managers, suppliers, and site teams to resolve design issues, optimize material usage, and support smooth installation.

Designer is expected to maintain documentation, participate in design reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of facade solutions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in facade design, including Facade and Facade Design for various building types.
- Candidates should possess practical experience with Cladding systems, such as metal panels, stone, and composite materials.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Glazing solutions, including curtain wall, structural glazing, and window systems.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in preparing and interpreting Shop Drawings and coordinating details with multidisciplinary teams.
- Working knowledge of CAD/BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and familiarity with relevant building codes and facade standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in an on-site, team-oriented environment.
