Role Description Job Summary The QC Executive is responsible for ensuring every order dispatched to clients meets DEME’s quality, fit, and finishing standards. This role oversees end-to-end QC for all orders including RTW, couture, urgent orders, influencer orders, celebrity outfits, and exchange/alteration pieces. Works closely with production, merchandising, and dispatch to guarantee that the final product received by the client is flawless and on-brand.

Key Responsibilities





- Oversee QC for all orders before dispatch.
- Inspect garments for stitching, finishing, stains, embellishment quality, proper pressing, and correct measurements.
- Ensure the product matches the customer order sheet, size, and color.
- Check fits as per size chart and ensure alterations are completed accurately.
- Perform QC for urgent orders, express dispatches, celebrity looks, influencer outfits, and campaign pieces.
- Supervise and train the QC team, assign tasks, and ensure team performance meets standards.
- Provide support and solutions to the QC team whenever they face quality or measurement discrepancies.
- Coordinate with production for rework, corrections, and follow-up on timelines.
- Ensure packaging quality: tags, labels, brand cards, dust bags, and final folds as per DEME standards.
- Maintain QC logs for defects, rework reasons, and daily output.
- Inspect accessories (bags, belts, gloves, etc.) before packing.
- Ensure garments are shipping-ready with steam touch-ups, anti-wrinkle care, and protective packaging.
- Support dispatch to send out orders on time without compromising quality.
- Handle exchange/return QC, classify reasons for return, and work to reduce repeat quality issues.
