Role Description The Eye Doctor at MantraCare will provide comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, and prescribe appropriate treatments, medications, and corrective lenses. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting routine and specialized vision tests, interpreting diagnostic imaging, documenting clinical findings, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic care.

The Eye

Doctor will educate patients about eye health, preventive care, and treatment options, while maintaining high standards of clinical quality and patient experience. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, requiring regular coordination with other clinicians and support staff to ensure timely, integrated care.

Qualifications





- Clinical expertise in ophthalmology, including comprehensive eye exams, diagnosis and management of common and complex ocular conditions, and prescribing corrective lenses and medications.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and technologies such as slit lamp, tonometry, visual field testing, OCT, and fundus imaging.
- Solid patient-centered communication skills, with the ability to explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive strategies in clear, accessible language.
- Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams, including optometrists, primary care clinicians, and allied health professionals.
- Ability to maintain accurate and timely medical records, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and adherence to clinical and regulatory standards.
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and staying current with advances in ophthalmology and telehealth-enabled care.
- Recognized medical degree with specialization in ophthalmology (MD/MS/DNB or equivalent), valid medical registration and license to practice in India.
- Prior experience in clinical eye care settings; exposure to digital or telehealth platforms is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a steady patient load while maintaining quality of care.
