About The Role

We are looking for an Export Sales & International Business Development Manager who will be responsible for developing international markets, generating export leads, acquiring new overseas customers, and supporting the complete export process.

The ideal candidate should have a combination of Export Sales / International Business Development experience and practical knowledge of EXIM documentation and export processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new international markets and overseas customers.
- Generate export leads through direct client outreach, LinkedIn, trade portals, exhibitions, references, market research and other channels.
- Connect with international buyers, understand their requirements and develop business opportunities.
- Prepare and share quotations, commercial proposals and product information with overseas customers.
- Handle negotiations regarding pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and other commercial requirements.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with international clients.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify new export opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Production, Quality, Logistics and Accounts to ensure smooth order execution.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA/customs agents and logistics partners for export shipments.
- Handle and/or coordinate export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, shipping documents, Certificate of Origin and other required documents.
- Maintain proper records of export orders, customer communication, shipments and payments.




- Track export shipments and coordinate with customers regarding delivery status.
- Ensure compliance with applicable DGFT, Customs and other export-related requirements.
- Follow up on customer payments and outstanding export receivables.
- Prepare regular reports related to export sales, leads, customers, orders and business development activities.
- Achieve assigned export sales and business development targets.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Export Sales / International Business Development.
- Proven ability to generate leads and develop recent international customers.
- Good understanding of international sales and export markets.
- Practical knowledge of EXIM documentation and export processes.
- Knowledge of DGFT, Customs, CHA and freight forwarding will be preferred.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good customer relationship management skills.
- Comfortable communicating with international clients through email, calls and online meetings.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic reporting.
