Role Description The Export Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for managing and overseeing all export activities. Daily tasks include coordinating with international clients and suppliers, preparing and reviewing export documentation, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations, customs requirements, and shipping procedures. The role involves planning and executing export strategies, negotiating with logistics partners, tracking shipments, and resolving any operational issues that may arise.

The Export

Manager will collaborate with the sales team to develop recent markets, support pricing and contract discussions, and monitor performance against export targets.



This position requires close coordination with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing, accurate inventory planning, and high service standards.

Qualifications

- Experience in Export operations, including documentation, logistics coordination, and regulatory compliance.
- Skills in Business Planning and strategic decision-making to support export growth and profitability.
- Knowledge of International Business and International Trade practices, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Ability to manage Sales activities related to export markets, including client relationship management and negotiation.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills for working with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP or trade management systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Commerce, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in an import-export or trading company, preferably in a similar managerial or supervisory role.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and capability to work under time-sensitive deadlines.
