Role Description The Export Manager role is a full-time, in office position based in Kolkata.

The Export

Manager will oversee end-to-end export operations, including order processing, documentation, compliance with international trade regulations, and coordination with freight forwarders and logistics partners. This role involves managing relationships with overseas buyers, distributors, and PPE suppliers, handling inquiries and negotiations, and ensuring timely shipment and delivery.

The Export

Manager will develop and implement export sales strategies, identify new international markets,



analyze market trends, and support business planning for key accounts. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing export pricing, tracking shipments, maintaining records, collaborating with production and quality teams, and providing regular reports to management on sales performance and market opportunities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Export operations and Export documentation management.
- Candidates should possess skills in International Business and International Trade regulations and practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in Sales and client relationship management for B2B international markets.
- Candidates should possess skills in Business Planning and market analysis for global expansion.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Experience in PPE or industrial products export is preferred, especially within leather or safety equipment sectors.
- Familiarity with INCOTERMS, export compliance, and coordination with logistics and customs agents.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP or export management software.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple export orders, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
