Role Purpose Evaluate custom-size stone paving and slab enquiries and prepare accurate, quotations by costing non-standard specifications covering yield, processing, wastage, packing, and freight and any other costs.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess RFQs involving custom sizes, cut-to-size paving, and irregular formats; calculate yield and wastage against standard slab sizes
- Build cost sheets covering raw material, processing/cutting complexity, special finishes, packing, and freight




- Prepare and finalize price quotations within agreed turnaround time, applying appropriate margins by order size and complexity
- Coordinate with plant teams to validate feasibility of unusual sizes, and with logistics for freight costing
- Maintain rate masters, historical costing data, and MIS on quote turnaround, conversion, and margins

Skills Required

- Understanding of natural stone yield and processing economics
- Ability to read technical drawings/specifications
- Strong Excel-based costing skills
- Familiarity with export documentation and freight structures
- Comfort with variable, judgment-based pricing rather than fixed rate cards

Qualifications

- CMA Pursuing / Inter CMA / CMA Passed
- 1 to 3 years exp in pricing/costing, ideally in natural stone, granite/marble, tiles, or similar export industries is preferred
- Experience with custom/made-to-order pricing preferred
