Planning Labs is an experiential marketing agency delivering corporate events, exhibitions, brand activations and on-ground campaigns.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Event Operations Manager who can independently manage projects from planning and vendor coordination to on-ground execution and closure.

Key Responsibilities

- Translate client briefs into execution plans, production schedules and operational checklists.
- Manage corporate events, exhibitions and brand activations from start to finish.
- Source vendors, compare quotations, negotiate rates and coordinate procurement.
- Prepare budgets, track costs and execute within approved budgets.
- Coordinate fabrication, branding, AV, lighting, logistics, manpower and venue requirements.
- Conduct site visits and oversee setup, rehearsals, event execution and dismantling.
- Brief and supervise vendors, promoters and on-ground teams.
- Work closely with client servicing,



design and accounts teams.
- Resolve in office challenges and maintain quality, safety and delivery timelines.
- Complete vendor reconciliations, expense reports and project closure documentation.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in event operations.
- Experience with an event, experiential marketing or exhibition agency is preferred.
- Proven ability to independently execute projects and manage multiple vendors.
- Strong knowledge of event production, fabrication and logistics.
- Good negotiation, communication and team management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and budgeting.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours during event execution.
