Qualifications

- 3 to 5 years of experience in the natural stone or cabinetry industry preferred
- Understanding of construction and installation processes, particularly in natural stone and cabinetry
- Knowledge of cost estimation principles and best practices
- Familiarity with construction documents, specifications, and blueprints




- Proficiency in estimation software and tools, including On-Screen and Bluebeam
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to develop detailed and accurate cost estimates
- Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and project managers
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing project specifications, blueprints, and other documents
- Include labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs in estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, clients, and subcontractors to gather required information for estimates
- Ensure all stakeholders remain informed and aligned with project requirements and costs
- Review and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers against project requirements and budget constraints
- Recommend suitable bids based on cost, quality, and timeline
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive estimating database for material, labor, and equipment costs
- Use historical data and current market trends to support accurate and competitive estimates




- Compile all required documentation and prepare formal bid proposals for client submission
- Ensure all proposals remain clear, detailed, and aligned with client expectations
