Job Summary

We are looking for an Estimation Engineer – ELV & Security Systems to join our Pune team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing BOQs, material estimates, costing, quotations, and technical proposals for ELV and electronic security projects.

Candidates with 1+ years of experience in ELV estimation, pre-sales, tendering, or security system estimation are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate BOQ, BOM, material take-off, and cost estimates for ELV and security system projects.
- Review project drawings, specifications, RFQs, tenders, and scope of work.
- Prepare technical and commercial quotations based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors/OEMs for product specifications, availability, and pricing.
- Prepare material costing and compare vendor quotations.
- Support the sales and pre-sales team with technical and commercial inputs.
- Prepare technical proposals, product datasheets, compliance sheets, and equipment lists.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable ELV/security products and solutions.
- Coordinate with project and sales teams to clarify technical requirements.
- Assist in tender preparation and submission within specified timelines.
- Maintain estimation records, costing sheets, BOQs, and quotation databases.
- Participate in client discussions and site visits when required.





ELV & Security Systems Knowledge Candidates should have knowledge of one or more of the following:
- CCTV / IP Surveillance
- Access Control Systems
- Video Door Phone / Intercom
- Intrusion Alarm Systems
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Public Address / PA Systems
- Time Attendance Systems
- Gate Automation / Boom Barriers
- Structured Cabling / Networking
- VMS / Video Management Systems
- Other ELV and electronic security systems

Required Skills
- Positive knowledge of ELV/security system estimation and BOQ preparation.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and project specifications.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD will be preferred.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Good numerical, analytical, and costing skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work on multiple quotations/RFQs simultaneously.
- Knowledge of ELV products, brands, and system architecture will be an advantage.

Eligibility
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication, IT, or a related field.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in:
- ELV Estimation
- Security System Estimation
- Pre-Sales – ELV
- Tendering – ELV
- Technical Proposal / BOQ preparation
- CCTV & Access Control estimation

Preferred Candidate Candidates currently working with ELV system integrators, electronic security companies, CCTV/access-control companies, or building technology companies will be preferred.
