Role Description The Estimating Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurgaon.

The Estimating

Manager will oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates for engineering and maintenance contracts, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted services. This role involves reviewing technical drawings and specifications, conducting site visits as needed, and coordinating with project, engineering, and procurement teams to validate scope and pricing.

Manager will analyze bids, prepare tender documents,



support negotiations with clients and suppliers, and maintain up-to-date cost databases and benchmarking information. The role also includes monitoring project budgets against estimates, preparing variance reports, and contributing to continuous improvement of estimating tools, processes, and standards in line with KMECCO’s safety and quality requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong estimating and cost analysis skills, including experience preparing detailed BOQs, cost breakdowns, and tender submissions for engineering or construction projects.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents, with attention to scope, risk, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with estimating software or spreadsheets, and solid numerical, analytical, and data management capabilities.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with project teams, suppliers, and clients, including transparent reporting and documentation.
- Knowledge of industry standards, safety and quality practices, and basic understanding of PF, ESI, GST, and other statutory requirements relevant to contract execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) or a comparable technical qualification; advanced certification in estimation or project management is an advantage.
- Relevant experience in engineering services, construction, maintenance contracting, or similar sectors, ideally with exposure to complex or specialized jobs.
