Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the development and delivery of Pooltrackr’s application platforms. This role will act as a key technical leader for the Pune team, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with global product and engineering goals.

You will work closely with global stakeholders to drive execution, provide technical direction, and build a strong engineering culture. This is a leadership role requiring both technical expertise to guide team resolve technical challenges and people management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

 Own end-to-end delivery, code quality, and engineering standards across application platforms

 Provide architectural guidance and enforce best practices across:

o Frontend: React.js / Next.js o Mobile: React Native o Backend : Laravel

 Ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-performance system design

 Contribute hands-on to critical or complex areas when required

 Drive product development through AI

Team Leadership & Mentorship

 Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers – 5 - 20 head count.

 Drive a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement

 Support hiring, onboarding, and scaling of the Pune engineering team

 Manage and coordinate across Agile/Scrum teams

Delivery & Execution

 Plan and manage development cycles in an Agile/Scrum environment





 Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery

 Identify risks, remove technical blockers, and ensure smooth execution

 Maintain high standards of performance, reliability, and user experience

Cross-Functional Collaboration

 Collaborate with product, design, and global engineering teams (AU, US, EU)

 Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions

 Ensure alignment with product roadmap and business priorities

Required Qualifications

 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with recent experience in a managerial or technical leadership role

 Strong hands-on experience in:

o React Native o React.js / Next.js

 Proven experience working on scalable applications and up-to-date architectures

 Experience managing Agile/Scrum teams and delivering projects end-to-end

 Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and engineering best practices

 Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have

 Experience with backend technologies such as PHP/Laravel

 Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and DevOps practices

 Experience working on SaaS products

 Exposure to global or distributed teams
